Beijing could bring $ 100 billion in Europe. China could have a key role in the rescue of the Euro zone. The Director of the Fund of financial stability for the euro (EFSF), Klaus Regling flew to Beijing to discuss the modalities of a Chinese intervention.,
China would be ready to tap into its huge reserves of 3.200 billion dollars to help the Euro zone, including the EFSF, for 1000 billion euros of financing. Funding would likely be structured through a special fund backed by the international monetary fund. The Chinese Government has not officially confirmed the information but indicated that its country will explore ways of "strengthening bilateral cooperation on the basis of mutual benefit."
According to estimates of economists, the Chinese already hold more than 500 billion dollars in debt of European States.
But a possible intervention from China to save the euro zone is taken prudently on the Continent especially the counterparties that China assistance would imply and the independence of political and economical measures, international trade rules and import and export conditions.
